Step 1: Inner Packaging — Protection First

High-temperature fiber boards are precision-engineered products that require careful handling. To prevent damage during transit, our inner packaging focuses on cushioning and protection.

Our standard inner packaging:

• Each board is wrapped with PE foam padding to absorb shock and prevent surface scratches
• Additional layers of pearl cotton paper are applied for extra cushioning and edge protection
• For custom shapes and fragile items, additional protective corner guards are used
• All inner packaging materials are chosen to prevent chipping, edge damage, and surface abrasion

The combination of foam padding and pearl cotton paper provides excellent protection against impact and vibration during long-distance shipping.

Step 2: Outer Packaging — Custom-Built Wooden Crates

Once the inner protection is in place, the boards go into custom-built wooden crates. This is our standard packaging method for all export shipments.

Step 3: Container Loading — A Systematic Process

Loading a container is not just about fitting everything in. It's about protecting the cargo during transit.

Our loading procedure:

• Plan the load — before loading, we map out the container layout based on crate sizes, weights, and destination
• First layer — heavier, denser boards go on the bottom; lighter boards on top
• Vertical stacking — boards remain in their original orientation, never on their edges
• No heavy items on top — nothing heavy is placed on top of fiber board crates
• Strapping and bracing — every crate is strapped to the container floor and braced against the walls to prevent shifting

Key principle: The goal is to eliminate any movement inside the container. Even small shifts during transit can cause damage, especially with fragile high-temperature fiber products.

Step 4: Pre-Shipment Inspection

Before any container is sealed, we conduct a pre-shipment inspection.

What we check:

• Product dimensions and quantities match the packing list
• All inner packaging (foam padding and pearl cotton paper) is properly applied
• Wooden crates are securely closed and sealed
• Forklift slots are clear and accessible
• Labels are correct and clearly visible
• Container interior is clean and dry
• Strapping and bracing are secure

We also take photos of the loaded container — both for our records and to share with customers as proof of proper handling.

Step 5: Documentation and Shipping

Once the container is loaded and sealed, the shipping documentation is prepared:

• Packing list — detailed breakdown of contents, dimensions, and weights
• Commercial invoice — product descriptions, quantities, and values
• Bill of lading — issued by the shipping line
• Certificate of origin — if required by the destination country

Storage Tips for Customers

Once the boards arrive at your facility, proper storage is just as important as proper shipping:

• Keep boards in their original packaging until ready to install
• Store on flat, level surfaces — not on uneven ground
• Do not stack heavy items on top — boards can deform under weight
• Avoid storing in areas with excessive moisture — while boards are packaged for protection, prolonged exposure to humidity can affect performance
